YCounter is program I originally wrote to count down to the new millenium. After the supposed Y2K disaster, I realized that the program had conveniently started counting down to the next year, so I left it sitting on my hard drive. YCounter is a tiny stand-alone executable for Windows that I wrote in Visual Basic 3.0. It displays the time left to the next year, in five formats (months:days:hours:minutes:seconds, days:hours:minutes:seconds, hours:minutes:seconds, minutes:seconds, or just seconds). You shouldn't need any additional software to run the program, nor does it use any other files or modify your system in any way. Just download and run. DisclaimerBy downloading this software, you understand and agree that I provide absolutely no warranties (either express or implied) about the software. In no event will I or other contributors to the software be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. Download YCounter.exe (8,484 bytes) Using YCounterThere's really not much to this program. Just download it and run. The little "Title it!" buttons next the to the countdowns will change the title of the application window to that countdown, so that if you minimize the window, you can still see the countdown clock. |
