Today Andrew and I biked to Guelph to join the guys there for their meet. Also to warm up for longer bikes such as possibly biking to Toronto for summer jam. Anyway, we ended up biking this route (Andrew biked more since he lives farther than king/university). The first section (from waterloo to gordon/college) took us around 95 minutes for 30.85 km, which averages to just under 20 km/h. Didn't really time the way back, it was a bit slower though.

The UoG campus is way bigger and greener than UW's, and way better for PK. There's concrete ledges and railings everywhere, and awesome trees for climbing. We spent around 2.5 hours with the Guelph PK guys playing around at the various spots they took us to. Nothing super high-intensity, which was awesome given we had biked there and had to bike back after. I think I got my longest continuous standing-rail-walk ever today, just because they actually have railings that are really long. Also a campus cop came over once while we were training and after a short chat decided to let us train, which was pretty sweet. Apparently that doesn't always happen though.

Anyway, all in all it was a fun meet, now I just need to recover from all the biking.
