Wanted to go for a run today and cover all of the Hillside/Forwell trails. I put on the old sneakers I intended to run in for Sunday's Dirty Dash, but after 20 minutes of running I felt like I was about to get some blisters. Slowed to a walk, and then decided to take off the shoes completely and walk/run the rest of the trail barefoot. I ended up throwing out the shoes halfway through, which I had planned to do on Sunday anyway. Parts of the trail had really sharp pebbles and stuff; if I hadn't thrown out my shoes I probably would have given in and put them back on. Looks like I'll be using my Vibrams for the Dirty Dash after all. [ 0 Comments... ] |
